January Favourites – Clean and Simple Skincare, Body Care etc For You To Try!

January 30, 2021

Hey guys, so, I decided to start sharing “my favourites” of the month this year.

This month, I decided to share skincare, body care and hair products that I have been loving with you all.

I hope that you guys find these things helpful or find inspiration for some new things to buy.

Let’s get started!

Firstly we have the skincare products I have been using and loving this month.

Sephora:

Origins Ginzing Glow-Boosting Gel Moisturiser (Image is linked)

This is a product I used years ago and loved, so I decided to repurchase it and def recommend it! If you have oily/combination skin like mine, you’ll love this! 😍

Here’s a description of it:

Awaken the radiance of your skin with an injection of vitamins and energy!

This light cream contains energizers like Panax Ginseng and Coffee Beans to restore hydration and adds radiance to your skin.

Note: This cream is a blend of 100% natural essential oils of grapefruit, lemon and spearmint.

Holland & Barret:

Clean, Cruelty-Free & Vegan Face Masks. (Image linked to the Ayumi products page).

I picked these face masks up when I was in London and I have been loving using them. The first face mask (Turmeric & Bergamot) is to help balance skin tone / for an even skin tone and the second one (Neem & Tea Tree) is for nourishing and balancing as well as a deep cleanse! 😊

Onto the next Holland & Barrett product I picked up:

I also picked up this toothpaste from there and OMG this has to be the best “natural” toothpaste I have ever tried. Def recommend. It leaves such a lovely menthol after taste in your mouth and smells so good too! I love cranberries so this is one I will keep repurchasing!

Note: This contains fluoride.

Eco Denta – Tarter Eliminating Toothpaste. (Image is linked).

Here’s a description of it:

A refreshing, anti-tartar toothpaste with Cranberry extract and Kalident for everyday tooth care.

The addition of Cranberry extract protects your teeth against bacterial scurf, preventing it from attaching to your teeth, thanks to this it protects your teeth from the formation of dental tartar and plaque formation.

Moving on, I picked this clean facial wash *an old favourite of mine* at Boots in London.

Boots:

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. *If you want a muslin cloth with it, buy the starter kit for £17.00- that’s what I did years ago when I wanted to try this product out* (Image is linked).

This is a product I always repurchase as it’s a gentle and natural cleanser with active ingredients that lasts so long and is great to travel with. I always buy this to take with me on long weekend trips and holidays. Also, it costs £15.50 but it is so worth the price point.

I love Liz Earle’s product and have tried a few others but this one is def my most used and loved as I can remove my make up with this as well so no need for facial wipes and micellar waters! 😉

Here’s a description of it:

Enriched with cocoa butter to soften, smooth and moisturise, and rosemary, chamomile and eucalyptus to tone, soothe and purify – the rich, indulgent cream deeply cleanses to instantly remove daily grime, pollutants and makeup, even stubborn mascara, to leave skin feeling comfortable, balanced and exceptionally clean.

Moving onto body care…

Also from Boots, a Body Scrub from Soap & Glory! I love this range even though it’s not clean or natural. I don’t use it often, just when I want to smell extra nice. Hehe. 😜

Soap & Glory Scrub Of Your Life Body Scrub. (Image is Linked).

This smells so good you guys – ALL Soap & Glory products too to be honest with you. But I picked this scrub up for when I need a little exfoliation and it does the job and I smell good once I come out of the shower too!

Here’s a description of it:

This smoothing Scrub Of Your Life Body Scrub is thick, foamy, fantastically fresh, and stuffed with the perfect ratio of scrubbing beads.
Scented with our Original Pink fragrance.

Speaking of smelling nice, this is my all-time favourite Rituals body cream which smells so good you guys. I use ALL the Rituals products but this has to be my favourite to use right after I shower! 😍 😍 😍

The Ritual of Ayurveda Balancing Body Cream with Indian Rose & Himalayan Honey. (Image is linked).

Here’s a description of it:

Harmonise body, mind & soul with this luxurious body cream from The Ritual of Ayurveda.

Featuring the delicately sweet aroma of Indian Rose and the soothing effects of Himalaya Honey, this rich cream intensively nourishes the skin and leaves it beautifully soft.

Finally on to the last product that I want to share with you all. A hair oil I have been using for a few months now! ☺️

Superdrug:

Superdrug Black Castor & Shea Oil Restoring Black Castor Oil

This has to be my favourite oil I have used in the longest time. I am always experimenting with hair oils but I have been loving this one since Summertime. It’s super inexpensive and works great to thicken and condition the hair.

Here’s a description of it:

Superdrug Restoring Black Castor Oil with Shea Butter has been specially developed and salon tested for dry, coarse and frizzy hair. The oil helps restore and tame frizz, leaving hair with natural shine. Also suitable to use on skin, leaving it feeling soft, supple and smooth.

That’s all my favourites for this month guys – hope you liked this post.

Keep an eye out for next months favourites which will be in my lifestyle category.

Until next time…

With Love,

Salma
